ITVET 2nd Annual Open House, April 25, 2008

We invite you to come to our open house between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2008, at our campus in Santa Rita Heights in Corozal Town.

Come and visit with our staff, see our facilities, and ask questions you have about our programs. There will be products on display and you can see what our students in different programs are learning.

Find out about trades, costs, and opportunities when you attend our intsitution. You can also find out about scholarships we have available.

Mission

The mission of the Institute for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ITVET), is to equip Belizeans with skills, knowledge, work ethic and credentials that will enable them to be gainfully employed. The primary area of focus includes:

• High School Graduates
• Primary school leavers
• Customized Training
• Skilled tradespersons seeking skills upgrade

ITVET exists expressly for the purpose of offering technical vocational skills training, geared towards training a workforce capable of producing goods and services which are competitive in the global economy.

ITVET believes that education is a basic human right, which must be guaranteed to all Belizeans to the highest level of each person's ability and must include those who may not have finished primary or secondary school. Each Trainee is treated as an individual with unique aspirations, needs and abilities.
