14 Aug 17:00 Art in Park Art in the Park2010-08-14 17:00Art in the Park is a monthly event sponsored by ICA. Local artists display and sell their creations. It is held in downtown Corozal in Central Park, and starts about 5 pm. |
If you have been looking for an environmentally friendly alternative to non-biodegradable plastics, there is good news!
Amelio Reyes is currently the exclusive provider in Corozal of EcoFriendly Solutions Limited, a Belizean owned and managed company located on the Western Highway out of Belize City.
Reyes currently has cups, bowls, 2 size plates, garbage bags, and microwavable clamshells for carry-out. They will be getting other products. Check with them.
The Corozal Town Council has been offering local painters, photographers, sculptors, and wood carvers an opportunity to display their work, the second Saturday of each month at Central Park. There is no charge to participate. Interested persons can pick up a guideline sheet at the Town Hall. Last month there was a group of musicians performing and plenty of room for dancing, if you like. You might start thinking about what you want to buy someone for Christmas!
There are pictures from the October Art in the Park in our yearbook, and you can see them about half-way down this page: click here for October 10.
