About Corozal.com

Corozal.com is the oldest and best-known community website that serves the Corozal District of Belize. It is owned and maintained by us, Jan and Judy Wilson of Linux.bz.

We are both naturalized Belizean citizens who have lived in Corozal Town for over 16 years. In our first year in Belize, Judy was hired as the first Counselor of Corozal Community College and Corozal Junior College. Jan was hired a year later as the Computer Teacher and Computer Lab Administrator. Corozal.com began while we were both working at CCC and CJC.

Jan writes the code (program) that is used for all our websites, and continues to learn and improve, thereby expanding the possibilities for what we can use for design on our webpages.

We have been doing corozal.com since 1997 and are interested in making it a valuable resource for the people of Corozal Town and the Corozal District. We are slowing adding features, including news items and a calendar of events.
