Kich-Pam-Ha, meaning Beautiful Water in Maya, is located on the Northern Highway between mile 89 and 90 in the Corozal District, a few miles south of the Mexican border.
The proprietors were Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso Alcala. This was a great place to go when one wanted to relax and have a good time. The resort was open from Sunday to Sunday. One could sit on the swings and enjoy an ice-cold beer or soft drink, and have a snack to go along with it.
One could also play a friendly game of billiards, volleyball, or football. Or take a nap on the hammocks or spend the night in the cabin. They also offered water-wheelers for those who like to have fun in the water.
