This area has cultural information relating to the Corozal District of Belize.
In early June, Corozal Town Hall hosted the exhibit 29:Artists, Works, Years. The exhibit started in Corozal and is touring the country, ending in Belize City in September for the September Celebrations.

ICA in Corozal, which functions under the auspices of NICH is offering local painters, photographers, sculptors, and wood carvers an opportunity to display their work, on a designated Saturday of each month at Central Park. There is no charge to participate. Interested persons can pick up a guideline sheet at the Town Hall.
Often there is music to add to the festivities. Dancing does break out in places at times.

Beth Bower and her students of Corozal Classical Dance Education presented "An Afternoon of Broadway" recital at ITVET.
Ms. Bower and 8 of her students donned their pretty ballerina costumes along with appropriate make-up and performed for those at the event. Pictures were taken at the dress rehearsal, while it was still light.

This September, Belize will celebrate 29 years of independence, and and an exhibition entitled "29: Artists Works Years" is beginning a tour of the country. It is being held at the Town Hall, and will be there for approximately two weeks.
There are several different types of art, some patriotic and some just a representation of art in Belize.

COEICH had a successful first Festival on 28 February at Miami Beach.
There was food for sale such as Tacari, Dahl roti and others. There were dancers performing, and people visited displays with information about the East Indian culture at the display booths.
The theme was "Retracing the Footsteps of Our Ancestors."
