Note this is a change for the second outage. It was originally 10:45-11:00 am. In the past, these times have been only approximate, with the actual power outage starting up to about an hour later, and especially during the rainy season, the outage might be cancelled at the last minute. This month's Art in the Park is Saturday, 14 August, 2010. There will be a parade for the Queen of the Bay contest at 4 pm, then the candidates will be presented afterwards at Art in the Park.
We have added pictures of some of the art that is displayed.
ICA in Corozal, which functions under the auspices of NICH is offering local painters, photographers, sculptors, and wood carvers an opportunity to display their work, on a designated Saturday of each month at Central Park. There is no charge to participate. Interested persons can pick up a guideline sheet at the Town Hall.
Often there is music to add to the festivities. Dancing does break out in places at times.

Sun 1 Aug—Corozal Classic Dance Education presents summer recital on September 1. ... show/hideThis is the second recital given by Corozal Classic Dance Education.
Beth Bower and her students of Corozal Classical Dance Education presented their first recital "An Afternoon of Broadway" at ITVET on March 31.
Ms. Bower and 8 of her students donned their pretty ballerina costumes along with appropriate make-up and performed for those at the event. Pictures were taken at the dress rehearsal, while it was still light.
