Sun, 28 May 2017 — Walk for Cancer Awareness

Starting at 5am on Sunday, 28th May, 2017, the Walk is a total of ten miles, beginning at Lano’s Grocery, going to Mile 79 (San Joaquin/Calcutta), turning around, and finishing at the Round House at Miami Beach.

For more info, contact Eliceo Kin at 621-5622. No pre-registration is required.

Walkers are encouraged to bring their own water to stay hydrated.

Fri, 2 Jun 2017 — Men at Work

We invite you to the launch of the 6th annual Men at Work Art Exhibit where our very best in sculpting, painting, drawing, silversmithing, carving and more will showcase their work. Please join us at the Corozal House of Culture at 7pm on Friday, June 2nd, 2017, for a night of art and appreciation. The exhibit will be on display until June 23rd.

The Corozal Town Historical Walk has been the catalyst in creating a group for residents who are passionate about our town and district's history. We are kindly inviting members of the community to the inaugural meeting of the Corozal Historical Society at 10am on June 10th, 2017, at the Corozal House of Culture.

Hurricane Earl Has Moved On

Wed 3 Aug 2016 — The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) has declared All Clear for Belize. Most of the damage was on the Cayes, in San Pedro and elsewhere, and in and near Belize City. The Corozal District had relatively little damage, from what we've heard.

Honours for Honorary Consul Marie Espat

Sat 11 Jun 2016 — The Government of México has awarded their high honour of the Order of the Aztec Eagle to Corozaleña Marie Espat, the Honorary Méxican Consul who has served both México and Belize here in Corozal for over 19 years.
